First Aid Training Day – Keeping Our Skills Sharp!
At Care & Carers, we are committed to continuous learning because caring for others requires us to be prepared for anything. On Tuesday, September 23rd, our dedicated care team gathered for an engaging and practical First Aid Training Day at our Haddenham office.
The session was inspiring and featured teamwork, hands-on learning, and a lot of positive energy!
Learning CPR & Emergency Response
The training focused on essential first aid techniques, including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the safe and confident use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Under the guidance of the qualified trainer, everyone had the opportunity to practice CPR on manikins, learning how to respond quickly and effectively in real emergencies. The session was interactive and engaging, and it was impressive to witness the dedication and focus of every team member.
Why This Training Matters
For us, first aid training is not just a formality; it’s essential for ensuring our caregivers feel confident and capable of handling emergencies, keeping clients safe, and supporting one another.
Regular refreshers like these help us stay prepared for any situation, guaranteeing that the people we care for receive the highest quality of support at all times.
A Huge Thank You to Our Team
We are incredibly proud of everyone who participated. Your passion, teamwork, and eagerness to learn truly embody the values of Care & Carers.
Training days like this remind us that behind every act of care is a dedicated team of skilled and compassionate individuals working together to make a difference.
