I have dedicated many years to working in health and social care, a field I believe is one of humanity’s greatest challenges. Meeting its complexities requires compassionate, dependable people, innovative approaches, and the thoughtful use of technology. Throughout my career, I have focused on uniting the right people and applying creative solutions to improve outcomes. I champion the role of technology as a powerful enabler for better support, efficiency, and dignity in people’s lives, while also advocating for safe practices and the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals at every stage of care.

I worked for the NHS for many years before moving into domiciliary care and have been with Care & Carers since January 2021. Starting as a carer, I have held several roles including HR and Care Coordinator, each giving me opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge. I am passionate about making a difference through high-quality care, and I particularly champion skin care, recognising how vital it is for the dignity and well-being of frail people.

Hi, I’m Collette. I joined Care & Carers in January 2024, bringing with me a background in HR, Recruitment, and Health & Safety. Since then, the supportive team has made my journey truly transformative. I am passionate about fostering innovation, diversity, and inclusivity, and I believe that embracing diversity drives meaningful change. I also champion safe medication practices in home care, alongside my commitment to high-quality, compassionate support. Every interaction with our clients is a privilege, reminding me of the profound difference we can make in their lives.

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’ve been working in care since September 2020 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love meeting incredible people and caring for them as if they were part of my own family. Alongside being a proud mum of two boys, I have a deep passion for dementia care and championing best practices in supporting those living with it. I am also a manual handling trainer in home care, ensuring safe, high-quality support for both clients and carers. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and discovering new places.

Hello, I’m Kelly, and I’m the Office Administrator. A big part of my role is looking after our recruitment and training, supporting our new colleagues through their journey with us. I enjoy helping to bring the right people into our team and seeing them develop their skills through training. It’s really rewarding to know that the work I do helps carers feel prepared, and in turn, ensures the people we support receive the best possible care. I’m always happy to help, whether that’s answering questions, arranging training, or welcoming new carers into the Care & Carers family. Being part of such a dedicated team makes me proud every day.
