In the world of looking after people, keeping them safe is of upmost importance. At Care & Carers we are like superheroes, making sure vulnerable people are okay and protected.

Caring for people, especially in the community, comes with its fair share of challenges. We often struggle with recruitment because there just aren't enough staff to go around.

Toward the end of year 12, we were all asked to complete a week of work experience. The purpose of this was to give us a glimpse of what working is like, as well as allow us to get some experience within a field we are interested in. Completing my work experience at Care and Carers was very rewarding and allowed me to work in a field related to psychology- which is what I hope to pursue in the future.

After spending over 17 years working in the health and social care, I noticed a recurring pattern: while many care companies were driven by enthusiasm and compassion, there seemed to be a significant gap when it came to incorporating technology into the home care services.

We launched our own care management platform, Careberry, in late 2018, and nearly four years later, we are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone!
