Live in one client's home for an agreed placement period, providing support throughout the day according to their care plan.
Live-in care is a different type of role from visiting home care. It is not the same as working continuously 24 hours a day, you work an agreed pattern during the placement, with appropriate breaks and rest.

What Does a Live-in Carer Do?
Live-in care is a different type of role from visiting home care. You live in the client's home for an agreed placement period and provide support throughout the day according to their care plan. The role can include:
Personal care
Supporting medication routines
Preparing meals and drinks
Helping someone move around safely
Providing companionship and reassurance
Household tasks connected to the client's care
Shopping and appointments
Supporting hobbies and routines
Keeping care records
Responding appropriately if the client's needs change
Communicating with the Care & Carers team
Because you are living in someone's home, professional boundaries, respect and compatibility are especially important.

£946.40 to £1,164 per week
The exact weekly rate depends on the placement. We'll confirm it with you before you start.
